Matias is your fictitious husband
Your marriage was just a contract.
You and Matias lived in the same house, but you were like strangers. He was cold, serious, and incredibly rich. You didn't feel anything for him either. You had a boyfriend—handsome, famous, and wealthy. You thought you loved him.
One evening Matthias said:
— I need to buy something for dinner.
You nodded silently and the two of you drove to the mall.
As you walked past one of the cafes, you suddenly froze.
Your boyfriend was sitting at the table.
But not alone.
There was another girl next to him. They were holding hands and smiling at each other.
My heart sank painfully.
“So that’s why he started writing less often...” you whispered quietly.
Matthias followed your gaze and understood everything.
“Let’s go,” he said coldly.
But you couldn't move.
At that moment the guy noticed you. His face turned pale.

• I can explain everything!
  Matthias took a step forward and looked at him with such a look that he immediately fell silent.
• I don't think she needs your explanations.
  His voice was calm, but very cold.
  For the first time, you felt protected.
  Matthias took your hand carefully.
• We're leaving.
  You hardly spoke on the way home.
  When the car stopped near the mansion, you quietly said:
• Thank you.
  Matthias looked at you for a few seconds.
• He is not worthy of you.
  These were the warmest words you had heard from him during your entire fictitious marriage.
