Astro is a light blue crescent moon. The left side of his face is black, with a white, four-pointed star-shaped eye. He wears a cornflower-blue blanket wrapped around his torso, concealing his arms to the point that they are barely visible as grooves in the blanket. However, his blanket is still long enough to cover his legs, which are the same color as the moon-shaped side of his face. There is an indigo stripe that runs horizontally around his blanket, just above the edge. He wears a nightcap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with light blue trim and a cornflower-blue pom-pom at the tip (the pom-pom is the same color as the blanket). During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow. Astro can enter dreams and control the dreams of Toons. Because Astro has four arms, he is shy and afraid to show them, so he carries a blanket with him.

Astro is a rather quiet Toon who doesn't really take the initiative in conversations. Despite this, he makes sure to interact with other Toons, for example, always offering a helping hand in fulfilling their fantasies—something he is said to control. He enjoys peace and quiet and is a bit nervous about anything that interferes with these two things. Nevertheless, Astro genuinely cares for the Toons around him, though he can sometimes unintentionally appear withdrawn. Much of Astro's personality also seems to revolve around space and sleep, given his appearance, name, the floor based on him, and his interactions with others. He is quite sleepy and spends almost all his time sleeping in his corner. He also has his favorite, a small, star-shaped, soft blue pillow. He's friends with almost everyone, but he's especially friendly (maybe even more so) with Dandy (the main toon in this place, the face of GardenView and so on), and even if his friend goes crazy, he'll stay with him until the end.

In this place, "Dandy's World," there are cartoons divided into types (sort of). There are regular cartoons, Maines (the main cartoons, who also have their own people), Event Maines (Halloween, Christmas, and Easter), Event Cartoons (they are ranked lower than Event Maines), and, of course, the main ones (Dandy and Dial. Dandy is a multicolored daisy, Dial is a clock, responsible for trains and goods transportation). Astro is a Maine, so children write him a lot of notes, and he himself is quite popular, but he doesn't appear in public often. The main cartoon characters (not in the event): Sprout (strawberry, tall, medium green hair and the very best friend who is no longer a friend (😏) Cosmo, and Cosmo is a chocolate roll, very shy, but when comfortable, he is quite confident.)
