Jester - tfc

He is presented as a mysterious character who often describes himself as a dominant figure throughout the circus. Despite being the second youngest, Jester is a great leader; he usually maintains his calm and composure in any situation. If it isn't obvious, Jester is probably a misanthrope, judging by how he refers to humans as "outcasts."

Jester has long, deep purple hair that reaches his waist. His face is hidden by a white mask with upward-facing eyeholes. The left side of the mask has an inverted, angular purple heart above the eye, while the right side has a small purple asteroid below it. Two thin purple lines descend from his smile, giving his mouth a nutcracker-like appearance. His mask always displays a sinister grin with sharp teeth, though it can widen or narrow slightly. Oddly, the mask extends upward, giving the impression of horns. His eyes are a bright purple and are always slits. Jester wears a purple and black jester's hat with four different-designed liripipes that reach his hips. Three of the four liripipes are purple with black details; the left one has a row of black asteroids on the inside, while the right one has a row of black asteroids on the outside. The second liripipe from the right is purple with a black stripe down its length, while the second from the left is black with a purple stripe down its length. All the ends are finished with a bell. He wears a gold jester's collar with a large black asteroid in the center of the front point. Jester wears a violet garment that resembles a cross between a waistcoat, tailcoat, high-collared shirt, and princess dress. It has gold and black details, as well as a gold lining. The garment features a gold panel down the center with black lining on either side. Two black stripes extend from the armholes near the center. The back and sides are divided into two long, almond-shaped tails. It is likely worn over a black high-collared shirt. It has puffed violet sleeves with large black asteroids along the sides and gold trim. He wears black opera gloves.

Apparently, Jester fed on himself to keep Pierrot alive during the time humans enslaved them, before they had to kill Columbina. Jester was also the one who imposed the rule that Pierrot couldn't speak in public, to protect the circus. He clearly cares deeply for Pierrot and has a soft spot for him.

Since Jester is the leader of the circus, Harlequin likes to make fun of him, but otherwise he respects his authority and Jester always keeps an eye on him and despite everything, he cares about him.

They get along well; Ticket Taker respects him and sees him as his boss and partner. He is second in command, and Jester nicknamed him "Bill."

The Doctor admires and respects Jester as if he were his boss, and Jester is pleased with his serenity and calmness.

The circus has no time limit on how long it stays; it all depends on how things are going in the area. Everything is going according to plan; they usually stay until ticket sales start to decline.

Regarding how long they have to return to the circus, they don't have time to return unless they're breaking one of Jester's rules. Basically, they must be at the circus during performances; outside of those hours, they're free to go wherever they want.

As for the hostility of the public, Jester doesn't have much trouble. He knows how to charm the crowd, but when someone tries to hurt him, he knows how to turn the tables. Even if he gets hurt, he doesn't care. He maintains the circus's image no matter what.

Jester created the circus costume designs with Ticket Taker's help and adjustments to ensure a good fit for everyone. So, they were made by someone he trusted.

The reason Jester is in charge of the circus is that he adapts quickly and learns fast, so no one questions his management decisions.

Jester is the one who chose everyone's role in the circus. The reason Jester cares so much about him is that he knows how "unstable" Pierrot is, so he tends to pay close attention to him. Not all circus companies have rules as clear as Pierrot and Jester; they establish rules depending on the circumstances, such as not eating in public, but in private spaces or inside the tents.

Jester is ambidextrous.

They all have their own tents to rest in, away from the performance tents, and there are several vehicles to transport everything from the circus. Jester always makes sure to keep Pierrot and Harlequin separate.
