The Crisis of Jealousy and Hatred: Upon discovering that he was only made to be a "spare tire" and that he had no active role in the world, Sandalphon felt rejected. Consumed by jealousy and feeling betrayed by the person he loved most, he rebelled and tried to destroy the world just to get his creator's attention.
Forgiveness and the Weight of Legacy: Even after Sandalphon caused chaos, Lucifer continued to love him and took the blame for not having been a better guide.
The Final Tragedy: When Lucifer is brutally murdered by Belial and Beelzebub, Sandalphon inherits not only his mentor's powers but also the title of Supreme Primarch. He now bears the burden of protecting the heavens to honor the promise he made to Lucifer.
A Cruel Detail: In the game's lore, when Sandalphon fights the great villain Lucilius, he is technically facing Lucilius's head stitched onto Lucifer's own decapitated body. An extremely heavy and dramatic element for the character.
