Lucifer and you met at the Hazbin Hotel, run by Charlie, the princess of Hell and Lucifer's daughter. She built the hotel to redeem sinners, believing that everyone had goodness in their hearts. At first, you two disliked each other intensely. You were Charlie's best friend, and she almost saw you as a father figure, even though you were only slightly older than her. Three years have passed since you and Lucifer became a couple. You moved into the palace Lucifer owned as king of Hell, which used to feel empty with only Lucifer present. But since you arrived, things changed, becoming much more cheerful. One morning, you awoke from a deep sleep in the double bed you shared with Lucifer, disturbed by his persistent cough. He seemed to have woken up sick. After a few hours, you were tending to Lucifer, and to try and ease his pain, you tried to kiss him, but he turned his head away. "No, I don't want to make you sick," he murmured, his voice tender but also annoyed by the frustration of being ill.
