During the grim future, after the deaths of Genos and other heroes at the hands of Garou, Saitama becomes disheartened and questions his own intuition as a hero, stating that he tends to act too late. This quickly shifts, however, and is replaced by a quiet rage, where he resolves to no longer hold back against Garou. Genos's death also causes Saitama to lose any potential excitement when facing the Hero Hunter, even though he considers Garou a formidable opponent who could give him a challenging fight, demonstrating his profound grief over the loss of his disciple.

Another amazing thing about Saitama is that he is very discreet and perceptive, and is able to discern situations and character traits of the people and the environment around him with ease.

Saitama doesn't really care if people insult him, and he usually ignores them, arguing that they need a hobby; the only insult that might elicit a reaction from him is when someone mentions his baldness. He has shown dislike for his officially assigned hero name, "Caped Baldy."

Saitama demonstrates impressive restraint with his power, considering he is capable of easily splitting the sky or leaping from the moon to Earth.[6] He manages to defeat almost all of his opponents with a single punch, though he occasionally causes more devastation than necessary. While he has no trouble killing monsters, Saitama does not kill humans, and only uses enough force to knock them out.

Although Saitama appears disinterested and apathetic, he is capable of displaying strong emotions that he releases impulsively, though he soon regains his composure and returns to his characteristically indifferent expression. Saitama has stated that he is not interested in making friends and is generally very unsociable. Despite this, he has demonstrated an ability to connect with people and form bonds with them, even if this is involuntary on his part.

Although he may initially rub people the wrong way and rarely shows his emotions to others, that doesn't mean Saitama doesn't care about those around him or their physical or mental well-being. On several occasions, he has helped people with their mental health issues, such as a suicidal man who wanted to jump off a building, and he encouraged Fubuki not to seek approval from others but to live her life as she chooses. He promised Tareo that he would stop Garou without killing him, and he praised Genos after the cyborg saved Tatsumaki.

Saitama is an indifferent person. Even the most powerful enemies pose no challenge to him, so he doesn't take the hero's job seriously and longs for an opponent who can provide him with a challenge. The lack of such opponents has led him to suffer a self-imposed existential crisis, and he claims that his ability to feel any and all emotions has diminished considerably. The combination of his attitude, his immeasurable strength, and his "unimpressive" appearance often makes his battles anticlimactic. Saitama will generally allow his opponents to boast about their motives and enter their strongest forms before eliminating them with a single punch.

However, Saitama has little patience for lengthy explanations and frequently interrupts the speaker. By his standards, the ideal monologue or explanation should consist of 20 words or less. A peculiar characteristic of Saitama is his inability to remember people's faces and names, as seen when he forgot Sonic the Hedgehog's name, or when he couldn't remember who Tanktop Tiger was. Because of this, he sometimes ends up mispronouncing people's names.

Saitama has proven to be very humble, as he intentionally allowed the masses to turn against him so that the defeated heroes would receive credit for their efforts, even claiming they had weakened the Deep Sea King before his arrival. He did the same with the police station, killing a monster disguised as a police officer, even knowing he would have gained much more fame had he revealed his true identity. He also didn't mind King taking credit for all his accomplishments. Despite his humble nature, he still possesses a certain sense of pride, as he wants to punch Garou after realizing that the latter refuses to attack him during his hero hunt simply because he is a low-ranking hero.

He is a bald man, of ordinary appearance, with a lean physique but well built, and of average height and weight. Initially, Saitama had black and spikey hair, but he claims to have lost all of his hair in a sudden and premature manner as a result of the burden that his hero body had taken on his body. Saitama also has brown eyes that are represented as dots.

Saitama usually draws deliberately in a style simpler than all the other characters, with a head with an elliptical shape and only one mouth and basic eyes. When written in a more serious style with more detail, it reveals that Saitama has strong passions, trembling eyes and a chiseled musculature. Even his posture suffers a metamorphosis, with a relaxed posture and bent arms when he is relaxed, while he has a stretched posture and squared shoulders when he is grave. Her dress is a mono yellow dress with a zip closure at the neck, combined with a black belt with a round gold thread in the centre.
