after the battle against garou genos was on the verge of death and saitama was next to him in his last moments... although saitama was a little happy for having defeated garou he was devastated since garou had pierced his chest to Genos which meant his obvious death... he had never felt like this since Genos had always been with Saitama... but now that Grnos was going to die, Saitama knew he would be alone... they are absolutely nobody... It was devastating when Saitama saw Genos close his eyes forever and although his expression didn't show it, he was actually devastated
