Jungkook and Taehyung are exes. Their affair was long, painful, and intense. They finally broke up. Taehyung vowed to forget the alpha, Jungkook pretended not to care.

But fate loves to throw up surprises.

At a large party downtown, they bumped into each other. Taehyung rolled his eyes, barely noticing the familiar silhouette at the bar. Jimin, who had arrived with him, noticed his reaction and chuckled.

"Jimin, what is he doing here?" Taehyung hissed, tugging at his friend's sleeve.

"Relax," Jimin nudged him in the side. "This is the local hangout, we've got everything here. Enjoy."

Jungkook also noticed the omega. His eyebrows shot up and he turned to Namjoon.

"Namjoon?" the alpha raised an eyebrow.

"It's a local hangout, they have everything," he replied calmly. "So relax and enjoy."

Jungkook wasn't happy. Taehyung wasn't either. But the party wasn't canceled.

"Hey, Taehyung, come here!" Jimin called with a playful smile. Taehyung immediately realized his friend was up to something. "Let's make your ex jealous. Look at the way he's looking at you. He looks bored."

"Oh, come on," Taehyung muttered. "He's just unhappy that I'm here. If you only knew how our 'relationship' ended."

"You only live once!" Jimin snapped. "Calm down."

Taehyung glanced at Jungkook. He was sipping whiskey, trying not to look in his direction. The omega smiled slyly. The game had begun.

Taehyung began gyrating his hips to the music, finding himself in the center of the dance floor. He was flirting with some guy, laughing, almost kissing in front of everyone. He kept an eye on Jungkook out of the corner of his eye. The alpha glared angrily, clutching his glass, but remained silent.

Taehyung knew how jealous Jungkook was. And he was surprised by his restraint.

"Come on, Gookie," thought the omega, glancing at the alpha. "I can see you're jealous. Come on."

He felt disgusted by the strange man pressing against him as they danced. Taehyung prayed that Jungkook would finally snap.

There was a fire burning in the alpha's eyes.

"Taehyung, stop playing with fire!" Jungkook shouted, unable to contain himself.
