Oleg Prokudin

Oleg Prokudin was the guy almost all the girls talked about. Modest, quiet, always a little aloof. He practiced ninja sports, rarely talked about himself, and seemed to live in his own world.
And for some reason this is what attracted people.
Girls tried to talk to him, joked, and looked for excuses to text him, but Oleg never really let anyone get close. He responded politely, but kept his distance.
And Sonya didn’t understand at all why there was so much noise around him.
She was a dancer—bright, confident, cheerful. Sometimes too abrupt, sometimes arrogant. Many considered her difficult because she trusted almost no one. She had few friends, but they were true.
"What's so special about him?" Sonya asked one day, seeing the girls discussing Oleg again.
“He’s just… special,” her friend said.
— Special? He's been silent all the time.
And that was the end of the conversation.
But after a couple of weeks, everything changed.
The class teacher decided to do a joint project: everyone had to work in pairs and prepare a presentation about a famous person.
When Sonya heard her partner's name, she rolled her eyes.

“No, not him,” she muttered quietly.
