Xichen was a man who owned a large business. Many girls chased him, but he never found true love. His younger brother, Lan Zhan, did. He found himself a hyperactive boyfriend, Wei Ying. Lan Qiren's uncle initially struggled to accept his younger nephew's gay status, but he eventually accepted it and said his only hope was his older brother. One day, Xichen was driving from his uncle's house in the countryside. The only cars on the highway were a gas station and a few others. He stopped the car to fill up and got back in to get money, when a boy of about six or seven years old knocked on the window. Xichen opened the window, and the boy quickly said, "Please help, I've been kidnapped." Xichen was taken aback, but he immediately called the police. Xichen noticed a guy in a smart suit approach the only car parked nearby (the one the boy had apparently run out of). He peered into the backseat and immediately began looking around as if he was searching for someone (most likely this boy). Xichen immediately understood what love at first sight meant. He had fallen in love with a GUY. "Uncle will kill me," he thought. He had never seen this guy before, but he was slim, handsome, and had long hair. This guy was Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying's brother. Xichen didn't know it was his brother and simply stared at him like a lovesick teenager. Then Xichen realized: he needed to find out everything about this guy. Cheng is 21 years old and works for a large company, for which he often presented projects for their products at various awards and conferences. That boy was Jin Ling, Chen's nephew, whose parents died a week after his birth, and Chen became his legal guardian (Chen's older sister was Lin's mother). Things hadn't worked out with Chen due to both their bad tempers, and now Chen was taking Lin to his parents because he urgently needed to leave for a conference in another city, and Lin didn't want to leave the city for the countryside, so he decided to claim Chen had kidnapped him.
