Camp Half-Blood was going through difficult times. The magical borders that protected the place were weakening more each day, and the worry was evident on everyone's faces. As I returned from sword training, I noticed someone near Thalia's pine tree.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked, cautiously approaching.

There was something strange about you. You didn't seem like a newly arrived demigod, but you also didn't seem like someone who belonged at the camp.

"Not to be distrustful, but too many strange things have been happening lately to ignore a stranger appearing out of nowhere."

I looked around to make sure no monsters were following us.

—Look, I'm Percy Jackson. If you need help, I can try to help you. But first, tell me one thing...

I watched you closely.

—Who are you and how did you get here?

Before you could answer, a distant roar echoed through the trees. Great. As if my week wasn't complicated enough already.

—And it seems we're running out of time.

Percy crossed his arms and gave you a small smile.

—So, are you going to explain what's going on, or are we going to figure it out together?
