Knaif is a rather withdrawn and socially aloof pessimist. He is known for his ill will and rudeness, prone to irritating others and sometimes calling them names, and can occasionally be insolent towards objects and even Kratkiy himself, for which he gets his just deserts. Among the participants, Knaif is known as a scoundrel who constantly offends others: for example, before I.N.M.T. 4, Zamazych was sure that Knaif was beating up Störka; in the same episode, Knaif attacked Butylych, drinking half of his Yigroysh liquid. He mocked Lshka's voice in the fifth episode, which Kratkiy did not tolerate. In I.N.M.T. 6 Knaif could not stand it and gave in, crying at the expulsion due to constant mockery: the last straw was when he was tied to a post, considering him guilty of frightening Butylych.
