Wifies discovered his ability when he was twelve years old.

It happened by accident and out of sheer boredom: he created a clone. Not a perfect, completely mindless one, which also disappeared after a few seconds, but a clone. From then on, everyone told him he'd be a hero. And Wifies truly became one, because he had no choice: superpowers weren't something everyone possessed, only 9% of the entire population, so being born with one, and such a unique one at that, was a miracle. Wifies had never particularly cared, but he became a hero. More clones, who could now exist for hours, became more precise and showed emotion. And like any hero, he needed a nickname. So he called himself 'Director.' Why? It just sounds cool. People loved and respected him; he probably even enjoyed the attention. But he enjoyed his rivalry with the city's biggest villain even more.
