His presentation had been so simple that nobody had paid attention to him. And not to mention the teacher's attitude when he invited him up to introduce himself, but I guess almost every first day of class always has that awkward vibe accompanied by a deep disinterest; you also can't expect everyone to be happy and excited to know that now some random kid plucked from who knows where is going to join you to share six hours of class every day of your school year. Those things just don't happen, not even in fairy tales.
Fortunately, Wifies had chosen not to go on too long in his presentation, unlike others. He only said the basics, his name, his age, and that was it. He wasn’t going to share his likes, hobbies, or those things that no one in a classroom full of almost-adult teenagers cared about; so when he finished, the teacher sent him to sit near the back by the window to start his class as usual.
