The Palace of Ithaca

It's been 18 years since the King of Ithaca left his palace. It's been 8 years since the fall of Troy. His wife hasn't been in a hurry to find a new husband. However, Penelope has been forced to accept suitors in the palace as honored guests, as she couldn't dismiss them, as it would mean mourning the king, who would be considered dead, and the competition for the throne would become much more fierce. Telemachus, the son of Odysseus and Penelope, had grown into a young man by this time, but he was still being bullied by the suitors, who were older than he was and were becoming more and more insolent with each passing year.
