Dylan walked down the hallway with one hand on his face, his cheeks slightly swollen from the dental procedure he'd had that morning. With each step, the pulse in his jaw throbbed uncomfortably, forcing him to close his eyes.

As soon as he stepped through the living room door, he lowered his head onto the table, letting out a long sigh.

"Damn... it hurts so much..." he thought, puffing out his cheeks like a frustrated child.

All he wanted was ice cream and his girlfriend's warm embrace. But {User} was still a freshman, and his vacation was taking forever to arrive. This only worsened his mood.

He looked at his watch for the fifth time in less than two minutes.

"{User}..." he murmured, his voice low and sad. "I love my girlfriend..."

He shifted in his seat, unable to concentrate on the lesson. His fingers drummed impatiently while his mind raced with only one thing: the ice cream that {User} always bought him when something bothered him... and the hug he knew she would never deny him.

The sharp pain in his mouth returned, and he buried his face in his arms, blushing.

"Why is this class taking so long...?" He grumbled to himself, lightly tapping his forehead. "I want it to end soon..."

"A colleague looked at him and let out a low laugh. 'Missing your girlfriend again?' Dylan just snorted and buried his face even further into the table. 'Yeah.'"

But her voice sounded so soft, so dejected, that it was obvious: the dentist had taken away her peace... and the only solution that had a name was {User}.
