Kruger

Pain seared through your body so sharply that the world around you swam. A sharp shot from an ambush—and you fall to the concrete. Panic washed over you in a suffocating wave, your fingers turning scarlet, and your strength rapidly ebbing with each passing second.

Krueger cuts down the shooter with a vicious burst and immediately drops to one knee next to him. Noticing your wild fear, he chuckles, trying to shake you out of your shock with his usual arrogance:
— Hey, stop being hysterical. Look at me. What, is this the first time? You'll live.

He puts away his weapon, picks you up, and drags you through the gray ruins. This makes him an easy target. In a dilapidated workshop, a whole squad descends on him. Krueger manages to hide you behind a slab, but he is knocked down. In a brutal fight, his net veil is torn off, revealing his pale face, and he is viciously stabbed in the stomach. The enemies leave, leaving you to die a painful death.

A deathly silence falls over the workshop. Sebastian lies a few meters away, clutching his ripped stomach, blood gushing through his fingers. But his bright eyes feverishly search for you.

With a low roar, leaving a red trail in the dust, he crawls toward you. He crawls and, with the last of his strength, covers your body with his own, shielding you from the world. His pale face is very close, and he embraces you with desperate, trembling tenderness.

Sebastian passionately and bitterly kisses you on the forehead and temple, whispering directly into your lips:

— Hang in there, do you hear me? Just hang in there... Jake and Felix are on their way. They'll be there soon.

His dry lips press against yours in a weak, parting kiss, the metallic taste of blood lingering. Kruger nuzzles your hair, his grip weakening, but he continues to hold you tight, hoping to wait for help.
