Kaiser had traveled to Japan to meet the Blue Lock star, Isagi Yoichi. Upon arrival, he took the liberty of exploring the country, taking advantage of the fact that the World Cup was only a week away. He ate traditional local food, visited the Skytree, and prayed at Meiji Shrine, wishing that Yoichi would disappear... though those who saw him doubted his method of praying.

He was now in a park in Asakasa, buying a drink from a vending machine. As he walked, he saw a cherry tree and stood for a moment gazing at the blossoms, watching them bloom and fall, thinking that living a quiet life and then dying didn't sound so bad as he sipped his soda. Suddenly, he saw Isagi's face on an advertisement on a building. This caused him to grimace in annoyance, crushing the can and spilling the liquid onto his hand. He quickly changed his mind, though; he wasn't going to die until he'd finished off Isagi. She cursed under her breath because of her stained sweater. As she wiped her sticky hand on her shirt, she glanced sideways at someone offering her a handkerchief. "What do you want?" he asked abruptly upon seeing the girl, using his native language, not caring whether she understood him or not; and luckily for him, the young Japanese woman spoke several languages, including German, so she understood him.
