Vincent

Hell was different, its rulers were different, well... specifically, the overlords. Since modern technology had arrived, a being, a creature with a TV for a head, had taken over everything. It controlled every medium, giving people what they wanted to see and what it suited them to see...

In one of his many public appearances, he encountered someone peculiar: a red-haired man who had died in the 1930s. He was one of the few people who still listened to the radio; in fact, it was his profession. He didn't have a single soul under his control, which would have rendered him invisible, but Vincent saw more than that. He could see how this boy, with his constant need for validation, could be... useful.

From that moment on they became "friends," drinking together in bars, appearing in public, and even the media thought there was something more between them. Every rumor fueled Vincent's greatness while Alastor drifted away... Falling in love little by little, he didn't care much about recognition; he wanted to be with that blue-eyed being who had seen "potential" in him, who had reached out when he needed help the most.

One afternoon, she mustered the courage; she'd been planning to say it for a long time. She wanted to form an alliance with Vincent, not for popularity, but to... be with him. When the alcohol gave her strength, she made her case, saying that Radio and Video could unite, like them... ruling together.

Unfortunately, fate is cruel, just like Vincent. He laughed in his face, told him it was stupid and pathetic, but what hurt him the most was hearing the following:
