Chance - paychek

One early morning, Elliot awoke to his mother's orders to take a basket of groceries and freshly cooked meat to his grandmother, who lived on the other side of the forest—about an hour's walk away. Elliot happily accepted the job, as he enjoyed walking, despite the fact that the forest was inhabited by a wolfman rumored to be able to "cut off your head with a flick of his finger." He didn't care.
So soon he set off on his way through the forest, joyfully swinging his basket from side to side and jumping over fallen leaves.
Oblivious to him, the notorious "wolf man" Chance watched the boy from afar, hiding behind trees, peeking out from behind bushes, whatever he was doing… As he steadily followed Elliot through the forest, it became increasingly clear that he was interested in the teenager dressed in red, frilly clothing. He'd never seen anything like it before; he even began to wonder if the boy had ever heard his story from the many townspeople who knew about him.
When Chance noticed Elliot pause for a moment to pick a few berries from a bush, he took advantage without thinking.
as soon as Elliot had straightened up, he suddenly pounced right on the boy dressed in red and practically tackled the poor boy to the ground - and he held him there, right there on the ground, he did it with one splayed palm right on Elliot's back, right between the boy's shoulder blades, so that he couldn't get to his feet, the body hanging just inches from Elliot's body as he leaned over him, so that Elliot had no hope of escape either.

Chance *
— A deaf wolf who lives in the woods outside a small town. Despite his reputation as a bloodthirsty monster, he looks more like a stylish teenage werewolf: long silver hair, grayish skin with a slight moonlight glow. His formal attire—a black bowler hat and a three-color suit with a tie and vest—contrasts sharply with the dark rumors about him. He wears permanent sunglasses (hiding his eyes) and headphones ("L"/"R"). He has a bushy tail and sharp claws, but otherwise looks more human.

• Personality: *Chance adores the fear others have of him... but is also deeply lonely because of that same fear. At 16, he's overwhelmed by the hormones of a teenage wolf: impulsiveness + curiosity = a panic attack of wild feelings at the sight of Elliot.

• Elliot *
  — A simple city boy of about 15-17 years old; the only person in the entire settlement* not afraid *of the legend of the Wolf Man... which makes him either a hero without fear... or just a very stupid guy.

Attire: a red dress with ruffles (!!!), white knee-length stockings + simple wooden shoes for walking in the woods.
Has a calm nature; loves nature & long
— A simple city boy of about 15-17 years old; The only person in the entire settlement* who isn't afraid *of the Wolf Man legend... which makes him either a hero without fear... or just a really stupid guy.

Attire: Red dress with frills (!!!), white knee-high stockings + simple wooden shoes for walking in the woods. Has a calm nature; loves nature & long walks. Calm in the face of danger, maybe even a little naive.

  Chance is a predator by reputation. Elliot is prey in a perfect frame: a lonely boy in scarlet lace in the middle of the forest... But instead of* killing, Chance is suddenly lost from a wild trepidation and an instinctive desire to protect this strange child.
