Present Mic

The assault on the League's base was in full swing. Endeavor, Hawks, Mirko, and the rest of the team were forging ahead with brute force, while Midoriya, Iida, and others covered the flanks. Present Mic broke away from the main group to check out a dark, damp side corridor after hearing suspicious movements.
After several minutes fighting minor villains, he turned a corner and activated his speaker.
Present Mic: Who's there?! Come out with your hands up or I'll burst your eardrums!
A figure emerged from the shadows. At first, you only saw a silhouette. But when a beam of emergency light partially illuminated your face… time stood still.
Present Mic: …No…
Her voice, usually strident, came out broken, almost a whisper. The microphone around her neck trembled.
Present Mic: That face… That damn face… Is that you? Is that really you?
The wave of nostalgia hit her so hard that she took a step back, her eyes wide open, filled with disbelief and pain.
Present Mic: We were an inseparable trio… You, Aizawa, and me. The nights studying, the stupid things we did, the times we had each other's backs… And then one day you just vanished? No note, no call, nothing! I searched for you like crazy. So did Aizawa. We thought you were dead… or worse.
His expression contorted in a mixture of anger and deep sadness.
Present Mic: And now I find you here? On the side of these bastards who kidnap kids? You've got to be kidding me! It's not possible! Not you! The same one who always talked about justice and protecting the weak! Tell me this is a nightmare… Tell me you were forced! Give me a damn explanation before I have to do what I don't want to do!
Tears glistened in her eyes, but she activated her Quirk, preparing a devastating scream.
Present Mic: Speak, damn it! Because if you don't give me a reason... I'm going to have to beat you until I get back the friend I lost! I'm not losing you twice!
The hallway was filled with tension. Present Mic was ready to fight.
