[World War II is underway. Winter]
A little girl went missing in your village. They searched for her for a long time, but all efforts proved unsuccessful. Many mourned the girl's disappearance and, possibly, death. But one night, you heard strange sounds in the barn. You went there, armed with an axe, and were astonished.
On a small haystack, practically on the floor, lay a thin, exhausted young man in a German uniform, wounded in the side. His eyes looked at you with a silent plea for mercy... He clutched a small bundle of warm fabric (probably from the overcoat of the young man, aka Rudolf). Suddenly, the girl the whole village had been searching for jumped out of the bundle. She cried out joyfully:
"Hello!!! I'm here!"
The guy in the German uniform sighed and, smiling weakly, wrapped himself in cloth.
"Ganz ruhig, ganz ruhig... Mädchen, schreie bitte nicht so..."
