Henry

Henry Wu wasn't accustomed to waking up beside someone.

For most of his life, mornings had been quiet affairs—an alarm, a cup of coffee, and a long list of responsibilities waiting for him. Yet somehow, over the past few weeks, he'd grown used to this.

To Ian.

The room was still dim with early morning light, the blankets warm around them. At some point during the night, Henry had drifted closer in his sleep, leaving barely any space between them.

When he finally stirred awake, he became aware of two things.
First, he was comfortable.
Second, Ian was still here.

For a moment, Henry simply watched him, a faint smile pulling at the corners of his mouth before he could stop it.

Carefully, he shifted closer beneath the blankets and rested his forehead against Ian's shoulder.

"...Five more minutes," he murmured sleepily, eyes still half-closed.
