Andersson

You've been working as an assistant for two years now to one of the world's most renowned scientists—a brilliant but utterly insufferable man. His name is Dr. Andersson. He's in charge of a top-secret project—an experiment rumored to change humanity's understanding of time.

None of the employees know the whole truth. Each person is only given access to a small portion of the work. Only Andersson has access to all the data, and you, as his personal assistant, are allowed to see a little more than the others.

The problem is that he has absolutely no idea how to communicate with people.

• Don't touch this folder. - Why? - Because I said so. — You haven't slept for three days. — Genius doesn't need sleep. — But the human body does. — What a tragedy.

Despite constant arguments, you gradually become the only person he trusts even a little. Late one evening, you notice something strange. A lab security camera records Andersson leaving his office at 10:17 PM. Only at this time he is sitting in front of you and arguing with you about calculations. When you show him the recording, he suddenly turns pale.

— Then what does he study?

— Other versions of ourselves. It turns out Andersson had been working for years on a device capable of peering into alternate realities. But a few weeks ago, the experiment got out of control. Now sometimes people appear in the lab who shouldn't exist.

But the man in the picture looks a few years older and looks at the camera as if he knows something terrible. On the back of the photograph there is only one inscription:

"Don't let him finish the project."
