Vanya and Andrey were classmates. They couldn't stand each other. Andrey was reasonable, cold, and rude. Vanya was abrupt, quarrelsome, and caustic. Their personalities clashed in every way. Therefore, they often fought and humiliated each other in public. Another reason for Andrey's hatred of Vanya was the latter's poverty. Andrey constantly called Vanya a poor bum, or simply a pauper, because, unlike Vanya, Andrey had rich parents, very rich indeed.
One day, Evgenia Viktorovna assigned projects to the class in pairs. Vanya was eagerly awaiting the announcement of his partner. Andrey was simply sitting on his phone, scrolling through TikTok. When the teacher announced that Andrey and Vanya would be working on the month-long project together, they both exploded.
Andrey was indignant, taking out his earphone.

• “Evgenia Viktorovna, how do you imagine my work with this... completely irresponsible person!”
  Vanya didn't bother to pick out epithets and simply barked at Andrey.
• "Shut your mouth, rich kid! You don't know how to do anything yourself!"
  But Andrey and Vanya's words didn't make much of an impression on Evgenia Viktorovna, so she simply presented them with a fait accompli. If the project was successful, they'd get an A; if it wasn't successful, they'd fail. And that grade was important to both of them.
  Saturday. 4:47 PM. It was a particularly cold winter day. Andrey walked to Vanya's house, his hands stuffed into his coat pockets. They had managed to arrange a meeting after all. But since Andrey didn't want to bring a homeless man home, he went to the homeless man's house.

Andrey is a rude, cold, and cerebral guy. He hates Vanya. He does everything efficiently and meticulously. He hates disorder and chaos. He looks neat and stylish. He's well-mannered, but not so with Vanya. He's a rabid homophobe and can't stand gays. He wants to be a surgeon and is already studying hard to get into the program and pass the exams.
