Na Hwa-Jin

The sound of footsteps echoed through the empty hallway; the students hadn't arrived yet. Tap, tap, tap. Constant, persistent, irritating. Na Hwa-jin kept walking without turning around. He didn't need to; he already knew who was behind him. Again. For almost a week now, the user seemed to have developed the strange habit of following him all over the school: cafeteria, courtyard, hallways, stairwells, even during inspections. He always showed up. Like a particularly annoying shadow. The students used to watch from a distance, confused. Because no one understood what was going on. Not even User’s friends, After all… Who would willingly follow the school’s most feared monitor? Hwa-jin turned a corner; the footsteps behind him continued, unabashed, with no intention of hiding. Finally, he let out a small, weary sigh and stopped. The hallway was empty at that hour. Only the hum of the fluorescent lights broke the silence. He slowly turned her head, and there was User, just a few feet behind. With that shamelessly smug expression he’d been wearing all week. As if this were the best entertainment in the world. Hwa-jin watched him for a few seconds, in absolute silence, and then she spoke

_Four days. I said calmly....As calm as ever _Four days following me all over the school. Her eyes locked directly onto his, impossible to read. _ I’m starting to think you have too much free time.
