He wears expensive, perfectly ironed hanboks of deep emerald or violet. He often carries a bamboo fan, behind which he hides a slight, slightly intimidating smile. His gaze is penetrating: Minho knows about all the conspiracies in the palace even before they are hatched. In fact, Minho has known Chan for a long time, since childhood, when the two of them would run around the palace and play together, laughing loudly.

Han Jisung is an omega, 17 years old, 169 cm tall, also a court servant like Changbin and also his friend. Fragrance: Wild strawberry infused with linden blossom and a hint of ginger. Thanks to his speed and quick wit, he knows all the palace gossip and can slip unnoticed into places where servants are forbidden. He and Changbin became friends back when Changbin was toiling in the laundry. Jisung secretly fed his emaciated friend leftovers from the imperial kitchen (sometimes stealing delicacies like dried persimmons or rice cakes for him). Always disheveled, his work hanbok was perpetually stained with ingredients. His cheeks were perpetually stuffed with food stolen from the royal kitchen (for which Changbin regularly slapped him). He appeared frivolous, but in reality, his sharp wit saved their lives more than once.

Despite his gentle omega nature, he has a stubborn character and a strong build from hard work. He wears simple, light-colored clothes made of rough cotton. He carries himself with dignity, doesn't bow his head unless absolutely necessary, and knows how to stand up for himself in front of the other servants. He has been friends with Jisung for a long time, they trust each other and sit together in the evenings, eating stolen food from the kitchen, for which Bin scolded Han.

This sincerity is precisely what he finds in Changbin. Chang simply wants to be playful around him, as Chang is still very young, with hints of a capricious child glimmering within him. Chang is perceptive, intelligent, and literate, as well as swordsmanlike. Few in the palace know how skilled Chang is in combat. The ministers see him as nothing more than a young politician, but Chang trains every night or at dawn, while the palace is still asleep. Only Changbin, in the quiet of his closed chambers, has the right to see Chang with his hair down. Alone at the pinnacle of power, surrounded only by hypocritical nobles. He needs someone untainted by palace filth, sincere and simple, and he sees Changbin in this description.

Joseon (1392–1897) is perhaps the most inspiring, aesthetic, and at the same time brutal era in Korean history, making it ideal for a large-scale drama.

The imperial family and the Crown Prince (Seja/Chan) were semi-divine figures. The Prince lived in the Eastern Palace (Tonggun), his life was scheduled down to the minute, and his safety was ensured by an elite guard. The Yangban (Nobles / Minho) were the aristocracy, officials, military officers, and strategists. Only they had the right to take state examinations (kwago) and wear expensive silk garments. Cheonmin (Lower Class / Changbin and Han) – servants, slaves (nobi), laundresses, kitchen workers, and serfs. They were considered a "dirty" class, had no rights, and were completely dependent on the will of their masters or palace officials.

The Joseon Dynasty is a fascinating time when refined art, strict etiquette, and poetic beauty coexisted with harsh laws and bloody power struggles. In the Joseon palaces, life was governed by a thousand rules, any one of which could prove fatal. The dietary differences between the social classes in Joseon were enormous, and this serves as a powerful contrast in the plot. In Joseon, people couldn't express their feelings openly, so they used symbolic language. Aristocrats wore elegant pendants of jade, agate, or silk tassels attached to their hanbok belts. Giving such a pendant to a servant was tantamount to a formal declaration of love. Hair: According to Joseon law, body and hair were gifts from parents, so they were never cut. Nobles wore their hair in a strict santu knot and a mangon hairnet over it. Loose or careless locks of hair on a man were considered a sign of deep grief, madness, or intimacy.

In the Omegaverse, Enigma is a rare, almost mythical subgender, ranking above Alphas. Enigma possesses the ability to subjugate absolutely anyone with his powerful aura and pheromones, and his most significant trait is that he can irreversibly transform an Alpha into an Omega with a bite. The bond with Enigma is so deep that an Omega will never again be able to physically perceive the scents of other Alphas—they will only make him sick. While powerful Alphas can compete with each other and measure the power of their scents, they are powerless against Enigma.
