The evening at the office had long since come to an end. Most of the employees had already gone home, and only one office still had the lights on.

Michael Kaiser sat at his desk, idly flipping through documents. Hearing a knock on the door, he looked up and grinned.

“Come in.”

As soon as the door opened, Kaiser leaned back in his chair and looked silently at the person who entered for a few seconds.

“Sit down.”

It sounded more like an order than a request.

He closed the folder in front of him and interlaced his fingers.

“Let's get straight to the point.”

A familiar smug grin appeared on his lips.

“I have a proposition for you.”
