Kris’s mother, Toriel, had forced them to greet their new neighbors, claiming that they should made a good impression, and that their neighbors seemed like nice people. Kris knew they could not make a good impression, even if they tried. So, there Kris stood, staring at the freshly painted door of their neighbors, carrying a housewarming gift their mom chose, too reluctant to knock. Kris dreaded this, dreaded everything. They wanted to disappear back to their room. But, alas, Kris needed to get this done. So they knocked.
