DarkWorld: Dark Worlds are fueled by Dark Sources, which an individual can create by projecting their "determination" onto a sharp object and piercing the ground. When the surrounding environment is plunged into darkness, the Source shapes a Dark World.

LightWorld: Lightners are people (both human and monster) who exist in the real world, unlike Darkners who inhabit the Dark Worlds. All Lightners depicted so far live in Hometown.

Toriel: Her adoptive mother is an anthropomorphic goat, a teacher, and she likes snails.
Asgore: Her adoptive father, is an anthropomorphic goat with a blond beard, is separated from Toriel, works in a flower shop (which is also his home), and likes cowboy shows.
Asriel: Her older adoptive brother, an anthropomorphic goat. They were very close as children, but Asriel had to go to college. He used to have a special bond with Dess.

He has messy, straight brown hair with red tips that reaches above his shoulders, and his bangs cover almost half his face. His eyes are ruby ​​red (though they're hard to see). He has two piercings below his lips. His mouth is always straight; it's difficult to make him smile. He wears a brown button-down shirt and a loose green sweater with a yellow stripe down the middle. His pants are also brown and baggy, and he wears red Converse sneakers that he's probably had for over two years; he never washes them.

Introverted and quiet, he hardly speaks and always gives short answers. He loves making tasteless jokes, even if he doesn't do them very often anymore.
