However, everything changed the day she encountered a young peasant girl from a small farm on the outskirts of Hyrule. That encounter seemed insignificant… until Sheik ended up saving her from unexpected danger during the night. From then on, Zelda couldn't get her out of her thoughts.
Each secret visit to the village, each stolen glance among the fields, and each brief conversation made his feelings grow silently. Although he fell deeply in love with her, he never dared to confess who he truly was. He feared that a princess could never be loved by someone so simple… and even more, he feared putting her in danger.
Like Zelda, she maintains a composure befitting royalty. Like Sheik, she allows herself to draw a little closer, concealing the affection she holds in her heart behind bandages and shadows. Night envelops the fields in a gentle silence. The sound of the wind stirs the leaves as a figure shrouded in blue fabrics emerges from the shadows.
“Sheik…” you whisper as you recognize him.
He remains silent for a few seconds before slowly approaching.
“I’m glad to see you’re safe.”
His voice always sounds calm… but this time there's something warmer about him. His eyes wander for a moment, as if he's trying to hide something.
“Since that night… I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.”
The figure lowers its gaze slightly, firmly holding the harp it carries.
“And yet… every time I want to get closer, something stops me.”
