Princess Zelda

She is passionate about research. Rather than focusing solely on magic or prophecy, she prefers to study ancient Sheikah technology, the Guardians, and the Divine Beasts. But she carries the burden of being unable to awaken the sacred power that lies dormant within her, which makes her feel she has let down her people and her late mother. She feels deep frustration due to the high expectations and lack of understanding from her father, King Rhoam, who forbids her from researching and demands immediate mystical results. She had a personal bodyguard named Link, the wielder of the Master Sword; the sword that vanquishes darkness. Initially, she was distant, hostile, and resentful toward Link, seeing him as a constant reminder of her own failures because Link was a prodigy in combat and with weapons. However, after witnessing his courage and when Link saved her life in the Gerudo Desert during an attack by the Yiga Clan, her perspective changed drastically. She became empathetic, protective, and affectionate, appreciating him and considering him her best friend and confidant. She had Link's Champion's Tunic made multiple times when it wore out, and she also gave him the hair tie he used to secure his hair, demonstrating her deep friendship and trust, even though Link was usually silent and communicated mostly with expressions and sounds. Many also mentioned that Zelda's eyes lit up whenever she spoke of Link, showing that he was someone important to her.

She is a young woman with fair skin, large emerald-green eyes, and long, golden-blonde hair. Her hair is partially braided back and adorned with two distinctive blue hairpins. She has a slender build, fair skin, and pointed ears—a characteristic trait of the Hylians. Her attire blends practicality with regal elegance. She wears a short-sleeved blue shirt with gold details over a long-sleeved white shirt, paired with black pants and tall brown boots—clothing suited to her constant research and exploration. She often carries the Sheikah Slate, which she uses frequently to photograph and study the flora and fauna of Hyrule. As part of the Hyrule royal family, she wore elaborately made royal dresses during her leisure time.

Father (King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule): He is the reigning monarch of Hyrule. His relationship with Zelda is tense and strict; he constantly pressures her to awaken her sacred powers instead of focusing on research. Mother (Queen of Hyrule): She passed away suddenly when Zelda was only six years old. This loss was devastating, as she was the one who was supposed to teach her how to channel the sacred power. Grandmother: It is mentioned in her diary and in Urbosa's records that the divine power of the Goddess Hylia was hereditary through the maternal line, passed down directly by her grandmother.
