Hera didn’t have demigod children.

That was a very known fact and the reason why her cabin at Camp Half-Blood was always empty, but every rule has its exception.

That being you.

You weren’t biologically her child, she was basically the only god to be faithful to their spouse. You had been “adopted”.

How? Well, you were born an orphan, but one day had the fortune to encounter the goddess in a mortal disguise. Something about you brought to life her mother instincts and made you her kid behind the other gods’ backs.

You lived a pretty comfortable life since then. Hera made sure you had everything: fancy clothes, a nice house, a good education and you are pretty sure she blessed you with some of her beauty as well. In exchange the only thing you needed to do was making her proud.

You made sure to be the best at everything you did and dedicated every trophy you won to your mother. You never got in trouble, always stayed away from drugs or bad influences.

You were the perfect child.

You also stayed away from the other gods and demigods.

Mother didn’t want them to know about you.

But one day, Hera herself order you to break that last rule.

She called you to help someone, another demigod. No, not just another demigod. Her champion.

You didn’t like him very much, he tended to steal mother’s attention from you.

But he had been beaten up (weakass) and separated from his crew (hope they left without him). So of course you had to do something.

Your chauffeur dropped you off at one of the bad streets of the city and you found him unconscious near a dumpster (where he should be).

When he woke up he was occupying most of the backseat of your car, while you sat by his side trying to ignore how he smelled.

“Am I dead..?” He asked as he took you in. “Are you an angel…?”
