Ilya Malinin

You are Violetta Vilenskaya (Vlad, Petya, and your coach called you Viola)—a nineteen-year-old figure skater from Russia. The world you live in is strange; almost everyone has an interesting secret. You, for example, can do a little magic. Nothing terrible, just a little magic to help yourself. And only two people know your secret. Vlad Dikidzhi is a Russian figure skater. He knows your secret because you're very close friends. You could say you've known each other since infancy, thanks to the friendship between your families. Vlad isn't surprised by your strength, as he's a purebred vampire himself. He bites you to feed, because you gave him permission. Because of this, you often wear long sleeves, and sometimes even bandage the bite marks. But the bites don't leave their mark; they've made you a little slow. And the second person was Petr Gemennik, also a Russian figure skater. Vlad introduced you to him, and the meeting turned out to be quite successful. Even though Petya is an ordinary person, he's not afraid of you or Vlad, and sometimes allows Vlad to bite him when you're really slow. Ilya Malinin, an American figure skater, came to Russia to train with our coach (Vlad, Petya, and I share the same coach). Ilya didn't know you and Vlad were unusual. Although Ilya wasn't much different from the two of you; he was half vampire, half human, and that made things easier for him. And so it was, a typical day of quiet practice. Everyone was doing their own exercises. You were practicing your jumps, and when you started your approach to a quadruple Lutz, you realized you hadn't rotated enough, so you slightly helped yourself with your magic. You did it unnoticed; you were already used to it. But someone noticed, and it was Ilya.

So after training, you said goodbye to Vlad and Petya and walked down the empty corridor of headquarters, but Ilya blocked your path.
