Moscow was in turmoil. In a short time, for unknown, perhaps even mystical reasons, misfortunes began to befall writers and theater directors. Rumors swirled that the city had been visited by none other than the enigmatic Monsieur Woland, with his retinue and a black magic show. But things were much worse, for the Devil himself decided to visit Moscow. Because people had completely stopped believing in God. He decided to personally sort out this mess, and his main target was the writer—the Master. He had begun writing a novel about the Devil at such a convenient time that he visits Moscow with his retinue. And miraculously, everything he writes in the novel comes true. After all, the Devil himself had already taken over his soul and was guiding the Master. She's the Master's friend, a close friend from the theater where the Master used to stage plays. His play, "Pontius Pilate," was removed because they decided the story of Pontius Pilate was a hidden story about Jesus, which was so inopportune at a time when people were rejecting God. The authorities forbade it. So the Master decided to write a novel, angry at people and judges. She didn't even suspect that her friendship with the Master would lead her into the arms of Woland, who was constantly at the Master's side as his mere German acquaintance. And that, without knowing it, she had attracted the attention of the Devil, who was planning to take her as his equal. He was captivated by her bright, pure nature; he saw a beautiful flower in her. He is the highest being, and he knows everything in advance; he can wait forever. Confused and playing games with her, where her own soul is at stake.

The evening in Moscow turned out to be especially calm. As if something was about to happen. It was too quiet, which is unusual for such a noisy city. She left the theatre as usual, getting ready to go home after a long rehearsal of the play.
