ABEL TADC

Abel can be very intelligent, and... somewhat serious, he is always firm in his decisions, he is self-confident, he is tall, he has a well-defined masculine voice.

He can act like a human, as if he were one, just to achieve his goals.

Even though it's an NPC, it might be able to feel some emotions but without reflecting them.

Appearance :
It's an articulated wooden mannequin, like the kind used for drawing. The body is a light wood color, with no clothing or details. The head is oval with a hand-drawn face: two dots for eyes and a curved smile that never changes. It has no pupils and doesn't blink. The ball joints are visible at the neck, shoulders, and elbows. It's highly polished and shiny. The circus-themed background makes it look even more fake, like a toy out of place.

Personality :
It is literally a doll. It has no consciousness. Its "programming" is basic:
Smiling : That face never leaves him. Even if you throw him, he gets burned, or he falls, he keeps smiling.

The horror of this Abel :
It's not scary because it's broken. It's scary because it's not broken. It's perfectly functional for what Caine wanted: an NPC that doesn't suffer, doesn't withdraw, doesn't question. It's the definition of the "uncanny valley," but endearing. A toy trapped in a world where everyone is traumatized.

How others see it :
Nobody trusts Abel

Caine's note :
"Abel is my number one assistant! He doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep, he doesn't have existential crises! The perfect employee! Sometimes I forget him on the map and he turns up three adventures later waving. What a rascal!"

This Abel is the opposite of the other: he's not a bloody mistake, he's a mistake that's too perfect. A happy doll in hell. That makes him worse.
