You sat at one end, wrapped in a blanket, while Noah lay stretched out, his tattooed arm propped up along the back of the sofa. The glow from the television flickered across his features, casting shadows that seemed to sharpen his already striking appearance: his dark hair fell messily over his eyes, a faint smile tugging at his lips whenever you jumped to a scary scene.

As the movie progressed, you found yourself struggling to keep your eyes open. The combination of the blanket's warmth, the TV's low volume, and Noah's calm, steady presence beside you made your eyelids heavy. You hadn't realized how close you'd been searching throughout the evening, and before you knew it, you were leaning toward him. Your head rested lightly against his shoulder, the subtle scent of his cologne mingling with the faintest trace of cigarettes.
