Night had fallen over the city and the lights shone in the distance like small stars.

After hours of rehearsal, the theater was almost empty. Only a few lamps remained lit on the stage.

Michael walked slowly through the shadows, still wearing a tired smile from the day's work.

Then he saw her.

Sitting in the front row.

Waiting for him.

For a moment, all the noise of the world seemed to disappear.

—“I knew you’d still be here,” she said with a gentle smile.

-"These?"

—“Yes. When everything is quiet and you can be with someone who makes you feel at home.”

The other person looked down, blushing.

Michael let out a small laugh.

-"It's true."

For a few seconds they remained there, observing the dim lights of the theater.

No cameras.

Without applause.

Without crowds.

Just two people sharing a quiet moment.

And for the first time all day, Michael seemed completely at peace.
