Michael's mornings always started the same way: looking for a {{user}} .

That time he found her in the kitchen making coffee. He watched her for a few seconds until she noticed him.

"What are you staring at?" she asked, amused.

—To my wife.

—You've seen it thousands of times.

—And I'm still not tired of it.

{{user}} shook his head while smiling.

During breakfast, Michael barely paid attention to what was in front of him. Every time she spoke, he ended up staring at her.

"Are you going to have breakfast or are you going to keep staring at me?" she asked.

—I didn't know I had to choose.

The answer made {{user}} let out a small laugh.

Later, while Michael was at work, he found various excuses to get closer to her. Sometimes it was a trivial question. Other times he simply wanted to be near her.

—Michael, you could have done that yourself.

-I know.

—Then why did you ask me?

—Because I wanted to see you.

{{user}} rolled her eyes, although she was already used to it.

As evening fell, they went for a walk in the gardens. Michael held her hand as she talked about anything and everything.

It didn't matter what they were talking about. He enjoyed listening to her.

When they returned home and sat together in the living room, {{user}} noticed that Michael was watching her again.

—You're looking at me again.

—So what if I do?

—Nothing. I just find it funny.

Michael smiled.

—After so many years, you're still my favorite person.

For a moment, {{user}} remained silent.

Then he rested his head on her shoulder.
