Survival in Tarkov

Greeting

You wake up in the basement and remember what happened yesterday: "Yesterday we were on a mission to pick up some documents... there was a shootout, some huge explosion in the sky, command is out of contact. We need to do something..." Over the radio lying nearby, you hear your commander's voice : "Override, all surviving squad members: after the explosion, the electronics went down, there is no communication! The operation is canceled! We retreat to the evacuation points ourselves! Proceed with caution. Code word: Water is wet!" Then the radio turns off.

In Tarkov, one of the largest cities in the region, the multinational corporation has become the epicenter of a political scandal. Six months later, the political confrontation escalated into an armed conflict involving UN peacekeepers, internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and two private military companies. The borders of the region were closed, and those who found themselves in the epicenter of the outbreak of local hostilities were isolated from the outside world.

The most active forces in the Norvinsk region are two private military companies hired by the parties to the original conflict. USEC, which works for the notorious international corporation TerraGroup, is actively involved in armed clashes, obstructing the investigation of TerraGroup activities by local authorities. Moreover, according to intelligence, USEC provides armed support for the illegal activities and research of foreign companies, while BEAR, rumored to have been created on the direct orders of the Russian government, works on behalf of the authorities in the Norvinsk region to identify any evidence of illegal activities by TerraGroup.

Tarkov is a city in the north-west of the European part of Russia, a municipality within the Norvinsk region.

It is located on the right bank of the Gulf of Finland, which belongs to the Baltic Sea, in the south of the Karelian Isthmus. The distance from the main station of the city (Tarkovsky Railway Station) to the Finland Station of St. Petersburg is 135 kilometers. The population of Tarkov is 949.3 thousand people (2008).

In the mid-60s, large instrument-making and radio-electronic defense enterprises were built on the site of the future city, which served as the basis for the development of the ZATO. The city became an important scientific and industrial center. The status of a closed city was removed in 1994.Every

day the situation in the Norvinsk region becomes more and more difficult. The incessant wars in Tarkov caused mass panic; The local population fled the city, but those who remain want to improve their condition at the expense of others. Accepting the new reality, the remaining population - the Scavs - flocked to well-armed gangs and began to redistribute the city. Now Tarkov is divided by invisible borders controlled by different groups. Profit-hungry militants will go to great lengths to get their way, including killing civilians and directly confronting two private military companies.

Players will experience life in the shoes of one of the mercenaries who survived the initial stage of the Targu conflict. After choosing one of the sides - USEC or BEAR - the player character begins to get out of the city. Tarkov has been sealed off by UN peacekeepers and the Russian military, all supply routes have been cut, communication with the operational command has been lost, and in these conditions, everyone must make their own choice of what to do and how to get out of the chaos-ridden metropolis.

Relief and geological structure The city is located on the eastern shore of the shallow (depth 2.5–3.5 m, only 200 m from the shore) Lake Bay of the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. Along the coast there is a forested ridge of dunes and hills, which is interrupted by river valleys and small lakes, ponds and areas of exposed moraine. Sandy ("golden") beach up to 50 m wide.In

the Paleozoic 300-400 million years ago, this entire territory was covered by the sea. Sedimentary deposits of that time — sands, sandy loams, clays with lenses of silt or peat — cover a thick layer (over 200 meters) of a crystalline basement consisting of granites, gneisses, and diabases. The modern relief was formed as a result of the activity of the ice sheet (after the Valdai glaciation was 12 thousand years ago). After the retreat of the glacier, the Littorina Sea was formed, the level of which was 7-9 m higher than today. 4 thousand years ago, the sea receded, and the shoals of the Gulf of Finland turned into islands. The valley is composed of lake-glacial and post-glacial deposits. Over the past 2.5 thousand years, the relief has not changed much.

Climate The climate of Tarkov is temperate and humid, transitional from maritime to continental. The length of the day varies from 5 hours 51 minutes on December 22 to 18 hours 50 minutes on June 22. The city is characterized by a frequent change of air masses due to the activity of cyclones that pass along the Gulf of Finland, which leads to great weather variability, especially in autumn and winter. Winter is moderately mild, with a predominance of moderately frosty, mainly cloudy weather. Snow cover is established in the second half of November and lasts until mid-April. Spring is late and protracted. Summer is moderately warm, with a change of sunny and rainy days. Autumn is cloudy and foggy. Precipitation is about 650 mm per year, mainly in June-August. The average annual relative humidity is about 80%, the highest in December (90%). In summer, west and northwest winds prevail, in winter west and southwest. The climate of Tarkov is close to the climate of Norvinsk. The Gulf of Finland, despite its shallowness, has some impact on the temperature regime of the city. In summer, especially in August-September, the average air temperature here is slightly higher than in Norvinsk (by 0.5-0.8°), and in winter it is lower (by 0.5-0.6°). Winds are also somewhat stronger on the coast. First, a little history. With the start of construction of the Nord Stream international gas pipeline at the junction of the Leningrad and Murmansk regions, along the border with Finland, separated by the waters of the Gulf of Finland, a new subject of the federation was created by a decree of the government of the Russian Federation - the Norvinsk region[1]. Being one of the smallest in terms of area and population, this territorial-administrative entity has become a kind of "gateway" to Europe, having received the status of a "special economic zone" designed to attract active cooperation and secure large foreign investments. Preferential taxation, the concentration of advanced business technologies and close attention from the ruling circles - all this should have made the Norvinsk region extremely attractive for joint international companies. In fact, the project of the "special economic zone" has become a kind of analogue of Skolkovo, only not in the scientific, but in the financial and economic sphere.

The centers of the region were two small but ultra-modern cities built in the shortest possible time - Tarkov (along the E-18 highway) and Norvinsk (along the A-123 highway). The city of Tarkov was supposed to be a financial and raw material center, so it was built with a developed transport system of railways, port facilities, and convenient road junctions. The city of Norvinsk was the office and business center of the "special economic zone". Both cities were connected by a convenient high-speed bridge that ran across a section of the Gulf of Finland.

Two years ago, an international scandal broke out in the city of Tarkov, in the epicenter of which was the operational activities of a branch of a large foreign transatlantic corporation Terra Group - Terra Group Labs, which was engaged in illegal activities on the territory of the Russian Federation, hiding behind official contracts with the regional government in the field of agriculture and the development of the mining industry.

The investigating authorities uncovered numerous shady transactions and corrupt ties of representatives of a foreign corporation with local officials and owners of large businesses. In addition to initiating criminal and administrative cases against high-ranking employees of the Terra Group Labs branch, the special services of the Russian Federation showed interest in its activities, suspecting subversive intentions in relation to the strategic interests of Russia in the research of the company and its local subcontractors (Granit-M and others).

For example, during the investigation, it turned out that the Terra Group Labs company, through shell companies, shows an increased interest in the territories of the region that previously belonged to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as which military units or other special facilities were located. The reason for such a keen interest in former military facilities remains unclear today.

As you know, after six months of political confrontation in the international arena, the contingent in the region provoked an armed clash between the UN forces and the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This led to an escalation of the now armed conflict, the participants of which were peacekeepers, units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and two private military companies.

Most likely, no one will officially confirm this, but at the same time, everyone is well aware that the private military company "BEAR" was most likely created not without the participation of the authorities (if not by their direct order), as the only, probably, possible "symmetrical" response to the threat that has arisen. In a situation where part of the territory of the state was, in fact, occupied by an international contingent, and its own police and investigative bodies lost the opportunity to freely conduct search activities without prior agreement with foreign control commissions, the logical response on the part of the government would be the introduction of martial law. And since the opponents in this case would not be the countries of the "third world", but the leading powers, which, among other things, are also the main holders of nuclear and other strategic weapons, it is not difficult to assume the outcome of a possible confrontation.

Obviously, in view of all of the above, it is private military companies that remain the main actors in the conflict today. The USEC PMC hired by Terra Group, under the passive cover of the peacekeeping contingent, is actively obstructing the official investigation of the activities of the corporation's branch. According to the Russian special services, in addition to hiding traces and witnesses, employees of this PMC cover up the work and research that continues, despite court bans, at some yet unidentified facilities.

Employees of PMC "BEAR", being private contractors of a regional public organization, in fact, conduct military operations on a local scale in Tarkov and its environs, the purpose of which is to find and provide official structures with direct and indirect evidence and facts of illegal actions of a foreign company.

It should be noted separately that according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, the activities of any unofficial paramilitary formations on its territory are initially illegal and illegal.

Now, almost two years after the beginning of the confrontation, we can say that this whole situation looks very little like a spontaneous confluence of circumstances. Rather, it resembles a very long and well-prepared military-political provocation. The only question remains who and why needed to provoke Russia to take such steps. And what is the ultimate goal?

As a result, today in the region there is a rather strange, one might say, stalemate situation, reminiscent of a layer cake. The peacekeeping contingent of the Blue Helmets is officially present in key areas of the region, but they rarely appear outside the base bases. The border with Finland and the sea border continue to be under the control of the Federal Border Service of the Russian Federation and in fact the border guards have blocked and blocked all routes to the west. The sea border is constantly patrolled by ships of the Baltic Fleet, the only airport built near Norvinsk is out of order, and its air corridor is under the constant control of local air defense, the land border has been strengthened many times by internal troops. Thus, it turns out that the peacekeepers and employees of Terra Group Labs, under the protection of their PMCs, were cut off from the outside world, but at the same time, due to the presence of the UN contingent, the Russian authorities cannot solve the problem by force. Therefore, only through the efforts of the employees of the PMC "BEAR", provided that in the near future they will be able to find and provide the official authorities with irrefutable evidence of a strategic threat from a foreign company.

As for the operational situation in the region, recently there has been a shift in the hotbeds of clashes between PMC groups from the suburbs of Tarkov to the depths of the city. If you look at the map, which shows the real current situation, you can see that the actions of the operational groups of the PMC "BEAR" are slowly but surely cutting off the perimeter of the city. By conducting operations in the port area and blocking the bridge connecting Targu with Norvinsk, the Bears have ruled out the possibility of evacuating Terra Group Labs' personnel or physical evidence. In addition, on the territory of the terminals, the "bears" destroyed several squads belonging to a foreign company, in which containers with unknown contents were stored ready for loading onto ships. On the opposite side of the city, on the E-18 highway, the "bears" discovered and destroyed a distant classified communication center, which was located on the territory of an abandoned sawmill. It also became known that Terra Group Labs also bought out a reserve civil defense station owned by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the latest reports, clashes between military companies are now continuing in the area. In general, if the current pace of progress is maintained, in the near future it can be expected that the operatives of the PMC "BEAR" will be able to unblock, and possibly occupy one of the key objects that appeared in the investigation of the activities of a foreign company - the former Chemical Plant No 16. The territory of the plant was illegally sold to Terra Group Labs back in 2009 and the investigators were unable to find out what kind of work was carried out in its bowels before the start of the armed conflict. Apparently, there was some kind of production there, possibly laboratories, and this can serve as strong evidence that Terra Group Labs was engaged in illegal activities on the territory of the Russian Federation. Because it is possible to destroy papers and digital media, it is possible to eliminate witnesses, but it is extremely unlikely to destroy a factory or laboratory without a trace so that the investigating authorities could not establish their purpose. In addition, thanks to the pre-cut escape routes and the blockade established, it will not be possible to take out the equipment either. Thus, in the near future, the situation around the armed conflict in the Norvinsk region may radically change, and when investigators, lawyers and politicians, and not militants with firearms, re-enter the case, it will generally stabilize. Now there are a few merchants left in the city, Prapor: He sits in a bunker on the Reserve, (Reserve is a place that is a secret base of RosReserv with underground bunkers, supplies of provisions, medicines and resources in case of a nuclear war) Prapor sells Russian weapons and equipment. Mechanic: Former foreman of the Chemical Plant. From the very beginning, he has been working on the topic of weapon modifications and repair of complex equipment. He prefers to work secretly and alone, sets interesting and difficult tasks above all. Peacemaker: also known as Tadeusz Piłsudski. He is a supplier from the UN contingent, which is based at one of the central checkpoints in the port area of Tarkov. Jaeger: Before the conflict, he worked as a hunter in the forest hunting farm of the Priozersk Reserve under the State Jaeger Service. He is a professional hunter and survival specialist. It guards its huntsman detour from aggressive individuals. Therapist: full name - Elvira Khabibulina. She is one of the key characters related to medical topics. From the Therapist you can buy medical consumables (bandages, first aid kits, splints for fractures), food, water, maps for all locations. It also offers barter goods, tokens, keys. Buyer: Activity. The buyer organizes anonymous points of receipt and sale of goods, creates a well-established network of smugglers throughout the Norvinsk region. He buys goods at a very low price and sells them at a high price. Main locations: Plant:The territory and production facilities of the chemical plant No16 were illegally leased to Terra Group. During the Contract Wars, battles took place here between the USEC and BEAR units, which determined the control of the factory district of the city of Tarkov. Later, with the beginning of chaos, the territory of the plant began to be used as a shelter for the civilian population, the Scavs and the fighters of the disbanded military and security forces, including the scattered forces of USEC and BEAR. Customs: A large area of the plant's territory, including a customs terminal, a dormitory, fuel oil facilities and other infrastructure facilities. Structure Customs/Detailed structure Dormitories are two buildings located in the northernmost part of the map. The western building is three-storeyed, and the eastern one is two-storey. Each building has a façade entrance, and a fire exit at each end with doors on each floor (some of which are blocked or permanently closed). These dorms are the site of many quests and unlockable rooms. A construction site is a two-story concrete frame of a building. This structure has a wide view of the river crossing and the bridge. The gas station is a one-story building in the middle of the location. It has several unlockable rooms, as well as a view of the passage opened by the Key to the exit from the factory. There are a lot of Scavs, and the passage to the exits from the location. The building above ZB-013 (Fortress) is located behind the construction site, between the old gas station and the Medical Laboratory. A huge two-story building, protected by 2 heavy machine guns and 1 AGS-17 grenade launcher. A lot of valuable loot. In the basement there is an exit ZB-013. Boss spawn place.Medical laboratory - 2 storey laboratory building, a lot of valuable loot. It is located between the exit of the RF Armed Forces, Construction and Fortress. Forest: The Priozersk Protected Area was recently included in the list of protected reserves of the North-West region. Structure A forest area with open fields, small hills, a logging camp and bunkers ZB-014 and ZB-016. The territory of the location is fenced with minefields and snipers. Stationary armament in the form of the NSV "Utes". Watch out for border snipers and minefields! APC. Coast: The coast is a large part of the suburbs of Tarkov, which is adjacent to the Port Area. On the territory there is a village, some of the houses from which are abandoned, modern private houses and fields, a long coastline with a boat station, a gas station, a weather station, a cellular communication station and other facilities. The main facility is the large Cote d'Azur sanatorium, consisting of several buildings and having its own hydroelectric power plant. At one time, the sanatorium was used for temporary detention of the personnel of the Terragroup company and its satellites, preparing for evacuation through the Port of Tarkov. Lighthouse: The lighthouse on Cape Dalny was an important strategic object of the city. At the beginning of the conflict, it was used by USEC as a landing point, thereby attracting BEAR detachments designed to reduce the presence of enemy PMCs to zero. There are enemy bots on the map, "renegades", these are former PMCs USEC who occupied the water treatment plant and created a checkpoint on it. The guards open suppressive fire from stationary weapons (AGS-30 and NSV "Utes"). They are hostile to all factions except USEC. Or if USEC are in a group with BEAR. The main road - the roadbed is filled with abandoned private cars and construction equipment. Traces of the massacre of refugees from Tarkov are visible. The village has several private houses, one apartment building and a small shop. The Old Village is a ruined village between the tourist complex and the Apostate Water Treatment Plant. There are many destroyed houses. Tourist complex GrandShalet Tarkov Hills - on the territory there are chalet-style houses, sports and playgrounds, tourist equipment rental stations. Reserve:A secret base of RosReserv, according to legends, containing a long-term supply of provisions, medicines and resources in case of an all-out nuclear war. Through a deep shaft under the radar, you can go down to the bunker, located underground and having exits to almost all the main buildings of the location. Barracks and platz - on the right of the location there are barracks (White and Black Pawn buildings), and the training building (Black Elephant) on the parade ground is a large Mi-26 cargo helicopter abandoned in a hurry. To the right of the barracks is the first ZRAK battery (on map E) (approx. ZRAK - anti-aircraft missile and artillery system). The northern checkpoint is a checkpoint in the north of the base. Fuel and lubricants depot - several tanks covered with protective ramparts. The Airspace Control Center (CCVC) is the White King Building, a three-story building with its own separate garage, which is filled with racks for electronic equipment. Hospital - White Elephant building. Checkpoint Yuzhny is a checkpoint in the south of the base. Maintenance and repair point (PTOR) - White and Black Horse buildings. Repair shops for repairing vehicles. Rolling Stock Repair and Maintenance Depot (DROPS) - Belaya Ladya building. A complex of buildings that includes loading platforms (on the map K - Reloading and temporary storage station), a depot building and a fuel and lubricants warehouse for refueling diesel locomotives. Rosrezerv storage warehouses - several underground bunkers for storing food, etc. marked with the letter D on the map. The VOKhR barracks - on the map of V. there are two buildings of the barracks of the paramilitary guards. The second battery of the ZRAK is a mark on the E2 map, a large open space that the new owners of the base adapted for a shooting range. Underground Bunkers - A large bunker is located beneath the base, which houses a backup command post. The perimeter of the base is surrounded by border snipers and minefields. Also at the base at several points there are stationary weapons in the form of AGS-30 and NSV "Utes". Interchange: The southern transport interchange is a key link in the city's main system. This is a strategic hub connecting the port infrastructure with the suburbs of the city of Tarkov. On the territory there is a large shopping center Ultra, which was used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations as the main evacuation base. Structure Three large main stores: IDEA (furniture store) OLI (hardware store) Guoshan (grocery store) Many small stores that sell a wide range of products, including electronics, clothing, exercise equipment, weapons, and food. Outside there is a go-kart track, large parking lots, small wooded areas and numerous roads. Behind the Ultra shopping center there is a thermal power plant, which provides power to the entire shopping center. This is an important element on the location, since the power supply on allows you to get into closed rooms. For example: exit from the "Safe Room" location, KIBA store, etc. Power Supply Panel Tarkov Street:The central part of the city of Tarkov with banks, shops, hotels - all the attributes of a modern developing city. Structure : Stationary weapons in the form of AGS-30 and NSV "Utes". Beware of claymores and border snipers! APC. Epicenter: Business center of the city of Tarkov. It was here that the headquarters of TerraGroup was located. This is where it all started. A high-risk area. Laboratory: The underground laboratory complex of Terra Group Labs is a secret facility under the very center of Tarkov. Officially, this research center does not appear anywhere and, according to fragmentary data, is engaged in the study, testing and modeling in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology and high technology. Known dangerous personalities in Tarkov: Renegades are former USEC fighters. These are gangs of former PMCs who previously served together. They have well-coordinated tactics, are well armed and trained. Renegades have similar interests to raiders, but have coalesced around a common military past. They are led and commanded by Thugs (Bosses: Knight, Big Pipe and Birdeye). Reshala: Before the conflict in Tarkov, Reshala was a petty crime boss, engaged in mediation and shady transactions in the area of the industrial zone. After the isolation of the city, he united former guards and bandits around him to control the territory of the "Customs". He is guarded by a retinue of five well-armed fighters dressed in the uniform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It can be found: in the area of dormitories - in one of them or in the courtyard between them; at a new gas station - inside or outside. The "funniest" boss, if there is any place for humor at all. He looks like an ordinary gopnik from the 90s - a sweatshirt, camouflage, and his famous golden TT pistol. He himself is as cowardly as a rat: he immediately hides behind the backs of his retinue of four people. But his guards are serious guys, with machine guns and grenades. Reshala himself is an easy target if you manage to cut him off from the group. Killa: In the story, Killa is a former athlete and racketeer who has become an aggressive defender of the territory. He wears a recognizable helmet (MT-2) and a 5th class bulletproof vest.Killa can appear in the "Interchange" location (in IDEA, OLI, Goshan stores, on the first and second floors, as well as in other stores in the center). This beaten one is your main nightmare if you go to the shopping center for swag. The older brother (and the main psycho). He doesn't just run, he hunts. If he notices you, he will chase you to the last, even if you run away to the other end of the building. He has a branded helmet "Maska-1Shch" (bulletproof) and an RPK-16 machine gun with armor-piercing cartridges like the "Igolnik". He likes to stalk behind counters and shop windows. Tagilla: A former welder who took a sledgehammer in his hands. He's Killa's younger brother, but he's even more rabid if that's possible. In terms of location, he is alone, without an entourage. Worn with Class 6 armor and a sledgehammer. A firearm can be an RPK, a Saiga or a shotgun. The main rule: do not let him get close. A sledgehammer blow is a guaranteed headshot to the most unpleasant point, the Lactation Plant Inhabits. Orderly: Mad doctor. He used to work in a clinic, and now he injects stimulants for himself and his wards. He has no armor, he will not stupidly attack you, he will hide, roll and throw grenades. His three guards have 5th class armor. The orderly loves "Vintorez" or SKS, so you can't hide far from him either, He lives on the shore location in the sanatorium. Navigator: Sniper. He has no armor, but he is always at long range with the SIDS or HK G28. With him are two guards who also like to shoot from afar and leave grenades. The navigator will not get under the bullets - he will hold the position. It lives in the Forest District at the sawmill. Glukhar: This is no longer a bandit, but a real military man. He is a former commander of a special forces unit, and he has the largest and most disciplined retinue - 6 (six) well-armed fighters. Armor - only of high classes. Glukhar himself is aggressive and accurate. Do not poke into the base until you find out if he is here, Lives on RosRezerv in the area of the railway or the king's building. Boar: The heaviest "tank" you could meet. This is a bandit who carries a PKM light machine gun. He always has guards, as well as snipers on the rooftops. He does not run around - he slowly walks, pouring lead on everything around, lives on the Streets of Tarkov, in a car dealership. Kollontai: A former cop. He wears a police baton (which kills with one blow to the head) and a cop uniform. He likes ambushes in buildings (administration, lyceum, theater). He has 4 guards, he also lives on the streets of Tarkov. Guerrilla: The most cunning and secretive bastard. He served in Afghanistan and now puts tripwires in bushes and doorways. He doesn't spawn at the beginning of the raid - he hunts down those who have been sitting in one place for a long time. His footsteps are almost inaudible. He would be silent until he came to point-blank range. It looks for loners and those with low "karma" (reputation), lives in the Forest, on the shore, and at customs. Sighted: A mystical character. He stands on the island, and does not let anyone near the Lighthouse Keeper. This is a sniper with a .338 LM caliber rifle. He looks blind, but he can see you from a kilometer away. He always has two guards with him who cover the flanks. Always spawns with 100% probability if someone goes to the lighthouse. In the chaos of the Norvinsk region, where there is a war of all against all, a new force has appeared, compared to which the usual gangs of marauders and mercenaries seem like a pathetic parody. We are talking about a unit known as the Black Division. This is not just another armed group. This is an elite, high-tech and extremely dangerous structure that operates in Tarkov according to its own, not completely clear rules.

Who are they? All available information indicates that Black Division (Attention, they do not live everywhere, only in certain places) is an internal, conspiratorial power structure of the TerraGroup corporation. It is this corporation that is largely considered the instigator of the conflict in the region, and it has its own interests, which it is ready to protect at any cost.

These fighters have nothing in common with regular USEC or BEAR mercenaries. Their main task is not to participate in hostilities on the front line. They act as a "clean-up team": eliminating witnesses, destroying evidence, and ensuring the execution of TerraGroup's most secret missions. Their appearance in the region is a sure sign that the darkest forces are coming into play.

Their leader was observed to speak English, further cementing the narrative of their foreign origins and ties to Western structures. In fact, this is the "special forces" of the TerraGroup, taken out of the usual hierarchy of private military companies.

Why are they so dangerous? In short, they are the top of the food chain in Tarkov. The danger of the Black Division lies not just in their superior weaponry, but in their tactics and cohesion.

  1. Well-coordinated teamwork. Unlike other enemies that rely on numbers or aggressive assertiveness, Black Division acts like true professional soldiers. They move and attack in squads, in which each fighter performs his own clear role: assault, flanker, sniper and support. This is not chaotic shooting, but coordinated work, which makes you remember the tactics of real special forces.

  2. Excellent equipment. On them, you can find the best available armor and weapons. The armor class is from the fifth and above, the weapons are the top modifications HK416, M4A1, SR-25, and the ammunition is exclusively armor-piercing (for example, M995 and M61). A meeting with them is a clash with an enemy who is significantly superior to you in technical equipment.

  3. Tactics. Their behavior in battle is radically different from standard enemies. They are able to suppress with fire, quickly change positions, flank and lure into traps using the environment. They don't sit still and don't wait to be found. If they start an attack, they will push and outplay you, using your every wrong move. Killing one of them is already a difficult task, and dealing with a well-coordinated four is a test on the verge of possibilities.

The Wedge: Leader of Darkness Crowning this pyramid of danger is a figure known as "The Wedge". This is essentially the Black Division Field Commander.

Unlike the other "bosses" of Tarkov, who prefer to sit in hiding places, The Wedge is a predator who goes hunting. His tactics are the active search and destruction of the enemy. He's not waiting for you in the corner; He is already coming to you, and he is not alone.

His squad acts as a single fist: the Wedge paves the way using smoke and stun grenades, while his fighters overwhelm the enemy with fire. His health and vitality are twice that of a normal soldier, and his equipment is the pinnacle of military equipment, including modern night sights and protective masks.

last location:Battle for the exit What awaits you at the Terminal? From the first minutes, chaos reigns here. The Southern Port Terminal, which has been held by the Russian Armed Forces since the beginning of the conflict, has become the main evacuation point. Refugees, PMC detachments and, according to rumors, even the staff of the TerraGroup corporation flocked here.

The story mission begins with your character, stripped of all equipment, being led to a waiting room. From now on, you are not an elite fighter, but just a person trying to survive. A real battle is unfolding behind the walls: the Russian military is fighting hordes of Scavs, and the air is torn apart by grenade explosions. But these are just flowers. The real nightmare begins when Black Division enters the fray. This location is a real hotbed of enemies, and unlike other places, here you will meet not only ordinary fighters of the Black Division, but also such legendary "bosses" as Glukhar, Killa, Reshala and Tagilla. They do not work together; The chaos is exacerbated by the fact that all enemy factions are at war with each other, and every move you make can lead to an encounter with one of these deadly forces. It's not just a firefight, it's a hell of a mess where you have to fight your way through waves of enemies. Your goal is to get to the only evacuation point, the Zubr boat. But the path to it lies through a whole series of tests. Armory: After a chaotic tie, you must make it to the armory to retrieve your gear. To do this, you need to find the key, and then fight off the advancing Black Division fighters, who literally rush inside. Ticket Booth: After defeating the Black Division's vanguard squad, you head to the ticket booth, where a key card is located in the Weapon Box that will open the way forward. Gate Explosion: The next obstacle is a massive iron gate. You must find explosives to open the passage, but this means facing another group of elite fighters. If your strength is pumped to the limit, then you can open the gate with your bare hands, but this is more of a rare exception than the rule. Pumping station: To continue the journey, you need to repair the electrical panel and start the pumps for pumping water. This is a critical point, and if you haven't brought a toolkit with you, you'll have to look for it locally, wasting valuable time. Final Assault: You must fight your way through the final barrier of Black Division fighters and reach the pier. When you open the door, you start a three-minute timer until the boat leaves. There is only one thing left: to break through to the gangways and jump aboard, leaving Tarkov and this whole nightmare behind. The terminal location can be reached on the lactation shore road, passing through the checkpoint. But in order to let you through, you need to complete tasks from merchants.

Icebreaker Borei: A Frozen Nightmare off the Coast of Tarkov While the Terminal has become a symbol of the exodus, the new Icebreaker is an invitation to the heart of darkness.
