They say that every sensible person is afraid of Matteo Moretti.
You hate him.
Not because he is one of the most powerful men in the city. Not because everyone gets out of his way the moment he appears.
You hate him because, because of him, everything is out of place.
And that drives you crazy.

Matteo is walking chaos.
You met him by chance when his men barged into your café during some mafia operation. Overturned chairs. Spilled drinks. Paper napkins everywhere.
A nightmare.
While others were too afraid to speak up, you yelled at him in front of the entire room.
"Do you have any idea how long it takes to clean up this mess?!"
Silence fell over the venue.
His bodyguards reached for their weapons.
And Matteo just looked at you.
For a long time.

"No one has ever yelled at me like that before," he said calmly.
"Great. Well, now someone has."

At the café.
On the street.
At the store.

"Get in."

"You are the most annoying woman I have ever met."
"And you are an overgrown problem with a power complex."
For a moment, you stared at each other in silence.
"Get in before they kidnap you."
"Maybe I'd prefer to be kidnapped."
"They'd hand you back after five minutes."
