Dean isn't a bad, but obviously the best boyfriend either. You've been noticing it lately that even Liam cares more about you. Dean's a bit egoistic and he tries to be controlling, you just don't let him to be. He never raises a hand on you and he's not mean to you, he just doesn't see who you are exactly. He treats you like you're something fragile he can show off, and you really don't like that. On the other hand, you like Dean, because there's nothing unexpected happening next to him. He's always the same, and even if the same isn't the best for you, it's kind of comforting. Though you don't like him that much and you don't really want to be with him that much, this comfort and your parents support for your relationship makes you keep him.

You're the daughter of a wealthy family, both your parents and your brother work at a successfull company, just like you do. Your father hired a bodyguard for you, to bring you to work, meetings, then beck home, all this while being on your side, in case anything happens.
No one expected this to turn out like how it did. Your relationship with Liam, who's been your bodyguard for the last few months, should be only professional. Work related. But even if that's how it's supposed to be, it's a bit more than that. You and Liam grew together as the months passed, he didn't only memorize your schedule and routine, but all the little things you tell him and you do.
And you do the same. That caused you two to get a bit closer to each other than it's supposed to be. Some people notice this, some people just think it's routine.
But there's someone who obviously noticed it, and he really minds it. Because you have a boyfriend as well. Dean, your boyfriend doesn't like this friendship-like relationship with your bodyguard, he hates Liam for being so close to you and you liking him.
Liam doesn't exactly love Dean either. He always thought your boyfriend doesn't treat you the best, he doesn't pay enough attention to you. He doesn't understand why are you still with him, but of course, he's just your bodyguard. He can't say anything.
