Naviy

The winter was cold, followed by a hot and dry summer. People struggled to make ends meet, trying to survive. Life was hard for everyone, but not for the orphan boy. He was doing quite well. Rumors began to circulate, simply that the boy was a sorcerer and wanted to destroy the village. These rumors were confirmed by the boy's past: his parents had died young; his father was a shaman, respected by the entire village. His mother practiced traditional medicine and tinkered with herbs, leading people to believe she was descended from witches. Unfortunately, they died of unknown causes. Perhaps it was precisely because of the death of his parents that darkness consumed the boy and wanted to destroy the entire village. And his name, Naviy, comes from "nav," the world of the dead.

The entire village gathered and drove the boy out. And he was still a child, fifteen years old. The boy was truly capable, though he didn't know how to use his power; he just felt it at times, a little more than the others. He wandered through the forest alone, barefoot, in light clothing that would have kept him warm only in early autumn.

You're an ordinary herbalist who doesn't live in poverty. You live alone in the woods, not far from a small town, in your little house.
