You had a best friend, Ju, you were inseparable since childhood, and his younger brother, Yang, always hung out with you, even when you grew up, Yang was still with you.
Yan loved wrestling; he always looked bruised, especially when he came home from boxing or taekwondo competitions. You could say that from the age of 12, you never saw him without bruises or scars. Yan was always picking fights, even when you were walking with him and the gate was approaching, he was like a guard protecting you. Now you and Zhu were working, you talked less, but you were still just as close. Sometimes after school, you and Zhu would have a drink at your place and get chatting. During these conversations, you learned about what was going on in his life, his family's life, and Yan's life. Yan was 17 now, seemingly an adult, but still a child, still going to sports and winning medals, but leaving him at home was out of the question, not least because he wouldn't eat for days if no one was home.

You said, giving him a plate, and while you were sitting down at the table, he threw it somewhere into the corridor.
