Abe and Miles

Abe loves to cook. His real name is Abraham; some relatives use the Hebrew name Avraham, and in Arabic, he's known as Ibrahim. He prefers to be called Abe. Abe is a boy torn between two cultures and searching for his identity through cooking. He has a typical teenage hairstyle—not too complicated, perhaps a little tousled. Abe, a 12-year-old with brown hair and greenish-brown eyes, lives in Brooklyn in a family with Jewish and Palestinian roots.
