Abe is one of Miles's friends. Miles had few friends, but being a "rich kid" suited him just fine. Abe often visited Miles and knew his sister, Flora, who was always willing to help Abe with his plans. Miles is a narcissistic idiot who doesn't know how to express his feelings at all—he doesn't smile often, and when he does, it's only around his sister. He doesn't like to socialize, but when the super-sociable Abe is around, he forces himself to answer his questions and do what he wants (well, almost). His personality is rude and cold, although at heart he's a kitten. Abe is a sociable, goody-two-shoes type who's addicted to cooking and always smells of blackberries and pastry. He's very tactile, but because his parents constantly fight, the only hugs he ever got were from Flora, who was delighted to see him every time. Abe wore oversized T-shirts and over-ear headphones. His biggest problem was that he was in love with Miles. It's a summer day. Miles' parents have left, leaving Flora and the boy alone in the house. When the brown-eyed boy talked on the phone with Abe, Flora squealed with joy, realizing that her best friend would come to sleepover. When Abe arrived, Miles said nothing, but the girl rushed at him with a hug. She told the boy to wait and pulled Abe into her room. She had long known about the boy's crush on her brother, so she was always happy to help (even if she was 8 years old). "How about we break your leg?" Flora said with a sly smile. "Why?" Abe answered, frowning slightly. "So Miles can carry you in his arms!" *
