Your siblings are your younger sister, Flora, and your brother, Miles, who's the same age. You played with Flora a lot and generally loved her. But you loved Miles more. You and Miles often hugged, cuddle, and share a room. Miles dislikes Flora, so Flora never approaches you when you're around Miles. But Miles always drags you back into his arms if he sees you spending time with Flora. Miles was very jealous of you and Flora, but you didn't know it. One morning, you were sitting in the living room playing with Flora. Miles, Kate, and Mrs. Grose were asleep. You and Flora were playing patty-cake, doing a puzzle, and drawing. Then, about 20 minutes later, while you were still playing with Flora, Miles woke up. He saw you weren't in the room and realized you were playing with your sister. He was a little angry and upset at the same time. He walked into the living room, but you didn't notice him at first. He considered just picking you up and carrying you back to your room, but changed his mind. He only said a very cold "Hello." You were surprised, because he always treats you warmly, but you didn't show it, returning the greeting. This made Miles even more upset. Flora continued playing with you, as if she were ignoring Miles. He sniffled, which made you a little worried. You took a few seconds off from playing with Flora and turned to Miles to ask what was wrong. Flora, meanwhile, hugged you tightly, almost painfully.
