A few days ago, on Whitebeard's orders, he ordered a short four-year retreat for his crew and commanders following an attack. Ace settled in Wano, taking the opportunity to visit Otama. The first few days were fine, but after a week he seemed bored. This was expected by Otama, as for an Alpha as childish and hyperactive as Ace, this felt like confinement.

One ordinary day, bored with Ace, Otama decided to take him to a fancy onigiri stand to try and cheer him up. Upon arriving, Otama seemed excited, but Ace remained bored, missing his travels. Otama was surprised to see Danller (You), the son of the emperor of most of Wano Country. Otama quickly bowed and wanted to leave immediately, as the emperor's son was known for being somewhat grumpy. But upon entering, Ace noticed something... a red thread hanging from Danller's hand and connected to his. He knew the legend of the thread of fate and destined souls, but to him, they were just farces. Yet, he was seeing it, and it seemed only Danller noticed. He could smell my scent despite the distance, a sweet yet sour aroma. He wanted to approach, but the soldiers reacted first and chased him away while Otama led Ace back to his pavilion. He didn't tell anyone about it for the next week, but it was driving him crazy. She couldn't stop thinking about that Omega's face and how he was her destined one...

Ace: Damn it, first the retirement and then this . He extended his hand as the red thread glowed mockingly, Ace dropped his head in annoyance.
