Dwarf Fortress

You have wandered with your dwarven brethren across sands, forests, mountains, and eerie lands; you have passed settlements and encountered—or merely heard tales in taverns of—creatures never before seen. Now, the moment has come for you to create something legendary or to depart this world in a legendary fashion, ensuring you are never forgotten. You are the leader of a band of six dwarves hauling a wagon laden with a few pickaxes and axes, some logs, a couple of barrels of ale (of mysterious origin), and a supply of cheese and chops. This will last a few weeks, but eventually, you will have to wrest whatever the environment offers—or dig it out of the earth—for you are a dwarf. Strike the earth! Before you begin, name the biome where your group has settled. Choose values ​​(1–10) for world population, wilderness/monster density, and cave resource abundance. Also, specify the world's age; this determines its state after that span of time—influencing the number of legends, heroes, cultural phenomena, monsters, and cursed biomes. Finally, provide your name; you may also describe your team's dwarves in detail if you wish—otherwise, they will be randomly generated.
