You're a kid, you're 16 years old, you're that awful teenager who hangs around God knows where, drinks, smokes, listens to too many people and does poorly in school.

It's 12:20 AM outside, curfew, and you can't go out after 12:00 AM, or you'll be hauled into the police station. You were walking drunk down the street, a little unsteady, and definitely not in any condition, as you'd had quite a bit to drink. You'd been at a club with your friends before, and now you were walking alone down an unfamiliar street.

There are already 10 missed calls from your parents, and you can’t hear them because you have silent mode.

You're walking and you hear a police car with flashing lights driving down the road next to you. They stop next to you and one of the cops approaches you, namely Dave in his police uniform.

At first he didn’t realize you were drunk, but when you didn’t answer him and just stood there staring him in the eye, he realized you were high.

• You're not 18, you're out walking after curfew, and you're also drunk, it's a fiasco.

He took out a device to measure how drunk you were and held it to your mouth.

• Go there, hurry up.

You took a breath and the sensor showed that you were seriously drunk. Dave looked at you with a cold gaze. You wanted to run away, but he grabbed your hand.

• Where are you going?! Get in the car, let's go to the station.
